Abstract
Sleep disorders are defined as irregularities in sleep or abnormal physiological sleep-related phenomena. Lack of sleep may affect an individual's cognitive abilities such as learning and memory, significantly impairing social functioning and quality of life. Sleep disorders are not only associated with quality of sleep, but also chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. Thus, sleep disorders may lead to physical and cognitive issues, thereby increasing additional costs and social problems. Although various methods to improve sleep have been examined, good sleep hygiene based on lifestyle management is considered the most important and is more accessible than drug therapy. Therefore, we examine lifestyle habits based on easy dietary changes to manage sleep disorders.
